A Hidden Gem

This is one of those tucked away gems. The friendliness of staff and quality of food make it a great choice for casual relaxed dining, where you’ll get good, fresh food at reasonable prices.

Located near the train terminal, this small but busy eatery offers homemade, Middle Eastern favorites. Whether you sit outside or inside, nothing can prepare you for the explosion of flavors in Habibi’s cuisine. The secret is in the spices. Each dish is prepared from scratch using many organic and natural foods, allowing them to cater to guests’ special diets – gluten-free, low fat or vegetarian.

Start with the Hummus or Cheese Fatayer – a flatbread with cheeses & herbs baked to a golden brown. The Kabobs are marvelous, in whatever form: butter-soft beef; fragrant lamb; shrimp; swordfish; or the house favorite Kafta. For the more adventurous – the Sweetheart Platter has a little bit of everything…a perfect introduction to this type of cuisine. The entire menu is low-fat and built on fresh ingredients, so go ahead and have dessert!

No bar…no problem! Habibi is BYOB and there is no corkage fee! It’s comfortable, casual, reasonable and worth coming back to again and again.
