El Amigo Mexican Grill, a family-owned restaurant, has added authentic Mexican flavor to downtown Erie.

Using first-rate ingredients, they make their food fresh daily – which includes the homemade tortillas. “We strive to provide all our guests with the most extraordinary experience possible, because customer satisfaction is a priority to us,” say owners David Luna and Montse Vazquez. The complimentary basket of tortilla chips and delicious homemade salsa are perfect for munching while mulling over the extensive menu. This Mexican grill & cantina offers an outstanding selection of dishes such as fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, burritos and tacos, as well as seafood, steak and grilled chicken. They offer table side guacamole at customer’s request. But, take care to leave room for ample entrées. Favorites here include the Birria Tacos, Burrito Vallarta and Enchiladas Mexicanas. Their new drink menu includes Mojitos, Rum-Chata and Margarona. For dessert, don’t pass up their homemade Churros!
