Located in the rural foothills south of Lake Erie on the banks of historic French Creek is Venango Valley Inn & Golf Course, a family-owned establishment rich in history and hospitality. Venango Valley offers a variety of dining atmospheres. The original, circa1838 Federal-style brick clubhouse with three small dining rooms provides a charming, cozy ambiance, with period-piece antiques, fireplaces, chandeliers and a “Williamsburg” feel. Or, select the more casual dining area adjacent to the clubhouse for a comfortable vibe and panoramic golf-course views. At Venango Valley, regardless of your choice, friendly, efficient service is assured and diners frequently offer their compliments to both the talented kitchen and wait staffs.

Begin with a zesty appetizer like seared Tuxedo Tuna – black & white sesame crusted Ahi Tuna with pickled ginger, wasabi & sweet soy drizzle. For lighter fare, choose the Chicken Salad Theodore or the Tuscan Salad. Choices vary with the seasons but some of the delectable entrées include specialties such as Scallops Magnifique, Bourbon Bacon Bone-In Pork Chop and Homemade Cannelloni. Specials are offered daily that are not on the main menu. Don’t leave without dessert: the Triple Chocolate Truffle Tower and the Bread Pudding with Jamaican Rum Sauce are incredible!
