Located in the heart of Ashtabula’s Harbor’s Historic Bridge Street, Rennick Meat Market is influenced by its history as a butcher shop that was run by TJ Rennick in the late 1800s through the early 1900s. Owners, Jennifer Pociask and Alex Asteínza – embracing the historical décor – have restored as much as possible reviving the ghosts of the building’s past. They have held on to the love of cooking… in the old ways. Steaks are dry-aged for at least 30 days and are some of the best you will find in the entire region! Artisanal cheeses, cured meats, sauces, pickles and mustards are homemade to bring you the best possible quality. They are dedicated to serving fresh, healthy and local fare, prepared simply and honestly. ‘Keep it fresh’ is their motto when it comes to everything, even their drinks. They squeeze their own juices and use fresh herbs and spices in their cocktails. They also offer over twenty wines by the glass so that each dish can be perfectly matched with one of their beverages.
