Come in…get Hooked

At the top of the hill, where Bridge Street climbs away from the water and historic Ashtabula Harbor, is Hil-Mak Seafood – a long time seafood restaurant and market. A fixture since 1966, where the food has always been fantastic and the fresh seafood unmatched.

At the helm of this tastefully remodeled restaurant – carrying on the excellent tradition – are owners: Alexis Newsome, Alicia Brunty, Jeff Brunty and Joyce Humphrey. Pristine quality seafood, sustainably caught, in season, at the peak of freshness – prepared classically or with a modern twist – is what Hil-Mak Seafood is all about.

In keeping with their high standards, features vary daily employing the freshest ingredients possible. A menu, full of delicious selections, beckons diners to relax and enjoy the freshest fare around. The enticing dishes attract customers who return again and again. Their mission is to continue to provide the same excellent product and great service in a casual, relaxed environment by the friendly staff that people have come to know and love!

Located just around the corner from the restaurant is the Fish Market.
